Alex, I’ve been reading this forum from the start. Users here were right to poke holes in the misinformation being printed in the UT back then, and contrary to your statement, the attitude to current UT stories is anything but enthusiastic. More like “they’ve finally pulled their collective heads out of their asses.” Their version of the market now more closely matches reality. I’m certainly not going to praise them for what they should have been doing all along.

Is it me or wasn’t he a ‘hand-grenade tosser’ (nice, Drew) before February 2007?? Then, somewhere in late spring he became a believer and made less venomous postings….and now this thread?

Fell off the wagon? Stopped taking his medication? Whichever the case may be, piggtonian preaching is (mostly) based on solid data. The UT opinions were just that…’opinions’ that the bill-payers (real estate industry) wanted to see being promoted publicly. So they deserved to be discredited and deemed useless in the face of fundamental, data-driven analysis.
