More shoppers spending less money. The National Retail Federation.
I’m standing by my prediction of people hunting out bargains – which are lower profits for retailers. This will be within a few percent of last years Christmas season – which was super low compared to 2007 and earlier.

Heh. Isn’t that a bit of a conflict? Besides, no one will watch them anyway. I gave “The Corporation” as gifts one year, and only 1 person actually watched the movie. Seen the Rev Billy movie, it is funny.

Aecetia–were you being sarcastic? I have never quite understood this “you deserve it” mantra. Who says a person “deserves” anything? My basic philosophy is: if you can’t afford to pay in cash, then you don’t deserve it.
