ParticipantProbably not the solution you are looking for, but I got a demo of their new flat panel tv with built in “surround sound.” I don’t think it’s quite as good a piece of equipment as I would expect from Bose, but it would do the job.

ParticipantI have not used this personally, but there are some receiver/amplifier thingies like this that you can attach to whatever speakers you want:

GuestI have a 5.1 system and have been using the “Rocketfish” for a few years. Running wires across my living room wasn’t a viable option. Works fine. I bought it at Bestbuy.
