sdr: Have you ever worked with a clay pot cooker at all?

I roast a lot of chicken and do it exclusively in a clay pot. You soak the clay pot about 40 minutes prior to baking and then use low heat (275) for long periods of time.

I noticed the low heat/long cook time on your ribs and thought I would bring it up.

Last week, we opened a bottle of Quilceda Creek red 2005. It has its tipical excellent combination of complexity and delicate characters in smell and taste. Another bottle we had last week was 2003 Pride mountain petite syrah. It offers a lasting mid palate full of various dark fruits accompanied with a balanced amount of coca and tonic at the finish. It went amazingly well with dark chocolates.

I am so curious about this 2005 columbia crest reserve cab…
