ParticipantI’m using US Window and Door, a company out of San Marcos which sounds like a small operation. I don’t know if I can recommend them as they haven’t done the work yet.
I didn’t get a personal recommendation, just got a phone estimate from a few places after google searches.
From the quote, the total install cost is 1200 for 9 windows which may be on the steep side. I don’t know. I just needed to get the ball rolling as my windows are special order, non standard sizes that require 3-4 weeks lead time for the factory (Milgard). I want the windows replaced prior to move in.
My windows are 6 4’x3′ single casement vinyl windows (dual pain argon filled low e) and 3 sliders(single casement required for bedrooms to meet egress code). I’m getting the final measurements today.
After I get the tax credit I’ll be around $400 per window, installed.
