After the Bear Stearns implosion…I really don’t know.

The condo market in UTC has already taken a pretty nice hit mix. What complexes are you looking at? I know places in Lucera that have lost at least off their 2004 prices. Yes that is 10% off of 2004! I think UTC will continue to move lower but it will not happen overnight. If you are talking about places like off Shoreline and some of the really nice stuff, they will go lower but again it will take time.

I am looking at possible future condo purchase in either:
– UTC area
– Carmel Valley/Sorrento area
– Pacific Beach
I just want a simple 2 bedroom/2bath condo with a decent garage or townhome setup. Since I travel a lot it would be too much work to maintain a yard and I would rather have free time to have fun and still have good home to live in.
Thinking of purchase in 2009-2010 timeframe.

andalucia, townhomes in old CV area kept increasing their list price, from mid $400K early this year to the low $500K currently. Does the builder/seller play any price game?
