Maybe someday I’ll ask some of the other posters for a job. Currently have one and love it, but I think like to work with or for davelj, EconProf, or FLU, or write some specialty applicatinos for someone in the real estate industry.
[/quote]dude, I work for myself and I can assure you that my boss is a real asshole. You don’t want to work with or for him.
I’m here for the laughs. After all, if you can’t laugh at the mess we’re in right now, you’d cry.
Edit: And I got here just 7 weeks after you, sduuuude. I’m an old-timer as well.

May 13, 2009 at 6:38 PM #398461garysearsParticipantI moved to SD in 2003. Thought I wanted to buy but couldn’t afford anything I wanted to live in. I was a little shocked at the prices people were paying and couldn’t understand the mania or where the money was coming from.
In early 2006 I saw a link to this site on craigslist, read the primer and was hooked. I can’t believe that my 3 yrs 11 wks makes me an old timer. Over the years I probably haven’t contributed much of value but have taken a lot.
Still haven’t bought but looking to buy. If I do buy it will probably be a fixer and then I’ll be soliticiting advice for ways to save money on the renovation or maybe looking for contractor references.

May 13, 2009 at 7:24 PM #398530snailParticipantBecause of FormerOwner, TG and Marion!
Moved my family to Temecula in 2007, was looking into the KB houses in Temecula and thought I could afford this (price was lower than LA area). Then found this bloghttp://piggington.com/temecula_housing_market_becoming_illiquid
Got hook reading opinion about Temecula mostly by TG and then reading all the juicy story about Marion at Rancho Bella Vista….Where the heck she is? I missed Her
