THe really sad thing is that these same people are now going on the attack again – but in a more surreptitious way. We’ve got Weimar cancer, folks.
That is so true and winning the presidency will end up being the booby prize for the Ds. The inertia of the economic storm will crush Obama within a year. Unfortunately he was put in such a position of having to use federal government intervention that he will live up to the fears of the Rs as being “socialist”. People will quickly forget that Bushco started the wave of statism and set the stage for massive amounts of USG intervention.
During the depression 50% of the populace lived on family farms, think about that. We are facing unemployment of that magnitude and without the family farm factor we are facing a much bigger problem than we had in the 30s.
