I wonder how many retirees will be completely surprised by this. It is a bit sickening. Many with a lifetime of savings, wiped out overnight.
We’re gonna see lines of people outside of WaMu branches and other banks, waiting to withdraw their money. Similar to what we saw at Indy Mac a few months back, only on a much larger scale.

They will be declaring bankruptcy, a federal reserve bank (BOFA, JPM etc) will slide in and buy up the cream for pennies on the dollar. The rest will probably get bought up over the next few years. At this stage there will be a landslide of regional bank failures.
