Participant12 is an awesome age! Many 12 year olds are independent and cool, can have a decently intelligent conversation without being too adolescent “attitudish” or girl crazy – enjoy your visit! I like the idea of printing out this list and having him pick what he wants to do.(You might want to have a budget in mind when you give him options) Booggie boarding or surf lessons would totally make him a cool dude in his friends eyes when he goes back to Kansas. You might also want to take him up to the LA area to see Hollywood or go to Universal Studios.
