Well, I hope I’m not looked at too differently now that I’m not incognito.
Whatever happened to the big house w/the big back yard? It went off the market and I thought it would be relisted “new” 0 DOM, but I haven’t seen it. I know it has not sold. I haven’t checked recently, but I haven’t seen any NODs on it. Maybe it got rented.
That back yard was screaming for a pool. I would have brought sunscreen for sure! – And allow me to be stereotypical – if I were a guy, I would’ve volunteered to bring a 6-pack, no? π

I actually drove by 13348 Shadetree court this past weekend. We were down in SD for a neice’s birthday party and we decided to check out Stonebridge Estates. The house looked vacant to me, but we didn’t look that closely. I noticed quite a few For Sale signs in the neighborhood, and I think that place could realistically see the 800-900’s range. There was a lot of new construction still available.
My wife and I are definitely interested in that area, but I’m a little worried about the commute if I end up at Balboa next year.

If there’s many for sale signs, I don’t think it is unrealistic to see them at 800k. If you’re traveling regular hours, the commute could be tough. But weren’t you looking in 4$ also? That commute won’t be much better.
