I have always run cars into the ground. I think I was Inspector 12 in a previous life. Put my way through school driving beaters. Gave myself my first new car when interest rates were the highest in history. Bought first house, second house driving old cars into the ground.
Two years ago bought my Audi TT and LOVE it. Handles great. Customer service is tops.

April 21, 2008 at 5:43 PM #191859AnonymousGuestHi, John. Thanks for that information. I was just thinking out loud, I haven’t even researched the BMW. I certainly don’t want an expensive car with a lot of expensive problems. I have heard the Lexus was a very good car. I like anything made by Toyota. I’d like to get something environmentally friendly that gets good gas mileage, so I really don’t know what I’ll end up with for my next car.

April 21, 2008 at 6:00 PM #191874NavydocParticipantJohn, was the xx meant to delete a post, or to indicate your gender? Most people named John are in fact XY ( I know ’cause I’m one of ’em!)
And yes jpinpb, until the divorce thread I too thought you were male. Your offer to bring sunscreen to my pool party just became a lot more interesting.
I am also beginning to think there are far more females on this forum than I initially thought.
