sdrealtor: Can you comment a bit on the employment/occupational/professional status of party people? Can you describe them as “rich” (in whatever way you want to graduate scale of wealth)?

Participant
IMO this thread of anecdotes is ridiculous. Remember “in God we trust, everybody else bring data”
Not only that. The thread replays about every three days.
Peterb stole my “shop an release comment” from the last one, so I should know.C’mon Peter, between you and SD Realtor.. and some others, I should start selling copyrights.

ParticipantProps to Rusty. I did steal it. Used it several times inthe last week as well. It’s good! Imitaion as flattery.
One note on anecdotal evidence: There’s so much BS manipulation of “data” in the world today that actually going out and looking for oneself can be far more revealing that trusting data from sources you cant or should not trust. As a matter of fact, checking the real world is how I test the “data” that comes at me. If they dont match-up, it causes me to investigate something on my own. And this is happening far more inthe last few years than ever before.
In this case, I’m seeing what the media is saying…wont be a good retail Christmas. But I predicted this months ago. Ray Charles coulda seen it coming.(Not sure who to credit for that one.) And as for credit cards, the industry is already predicting trouble. They’re going to lower their exposure by at least $1T in the next year by lowering limits. Defaults are starting to climb fast.December 21, 2008 at 11:11 AM #318996peterb
