This form of Karen gets pissed off when someone uses their trashcans and feels a need to vent on nextdoor to vocalize her grievances to an audience.
Using my trash/recycling bins The Grooves
It is not legal to dump trash in your neighbor’s trash cans. I believe there is a fine.It is really frustrating, remembering I have more to toss out after we put trash cans out for pick up. I open up recycling bin , and someone has dumped their week’s worth of fast food trash in there. Fast food is trash not recycling!
This has happened many times, I never catch them because they wait until late to do it.
It’s not that big of a deal if I have room, you ask, and you put in the correct bin. Also don’t overflow my bins, again.
It’s my service, so I’d like to use my bins, even it’s last minute.

But at least her apology (who can know if it was genuine) was an actual apology as opposed to the “I’m sorry if anyone was offended by what I said” bullshit that seems to pass for an apology nowadays.
“I want to apologize directly to Mr. Juanillo. There are not enough words to describe how truly sorry I am for being disrespectful to him last Tuesday when I made the decision to question him about what he was doing in front of his home,”
…
“I should have minded my own business. The last 48 hours has taught me that my actions were those of someone who is not aware of the damage caused by being ignorant and naive to racial inequalities,” she continued.
…
“When I watch the video I am shocked and sad that I behaved the way I did. It was disrespectful to Mr. Juanillo and I am deeply sorry for that. I did not realize at the time that my actions were racist and have learned a painful lesson,”
…
“I am taking a hard look at the meaning behind white privilege and am committed to growing from this experience,”
…
“I would love to have coffee with Mr. Juanillo in our neighborhood so I can apologize in person and share a dialogue where I can continue to learn and grow and be a better person,” she said. That is a solid apology. When people say, “I’m sorry if anyone was offended” or “I”m sorry if I offended anyone,” that should not even be called an apology, because it’s not.

She’s not sorry. She’s just sorry she and her husband were caught and her husband got fired from Raymond James and she lost her right to redistribute a cosmetic line with her own business. Tough shit.
June 17, 2020 at 9:31 AM #818336scaredyclassicParticipantwell at least its a good solid fake apology

Entirely possible.
My post was a bit of a threadjack. This “I’m sorry if I offended anyone” that you hear so much nowadays is ridiculous. Not so much that people apologize that way as that they get away with it. They are seen as having apologized when they have taken no blame or responsibility.
To me, an apology is only a little bit about the recipient of the apology. It’s more about the giver of the apology taking responsibility, for him to say, “I was an asshole, and I’m sorry, and I’ll try to do better.” Saying, “I’m sorry you’re a pussy for being offended” doesn’t do that.
Maybe the person wasn’t offended at all. My response wouldn’t be to get offended. My response would be to form (or change) my opinion of the other person. I would think, “you’re an ignorant racist.” If the other person gives what I think is a genuine apology, and seems to understand that their behavior was wrong, I’d consider changing my opinion of them again. And any apology that sounds more like “you’re a pussy” than it sounds like “I did something bad” is not a genuine apology. The one Karen gave at least has the possibility of being genuine.

I am sure her reaction would have been much different if the message were “Jesus is Lord”.
The stencil was very nicely done. Nice art. Normally it would be done with spray paint.
In other news, “y ll tired yet?” on the Lincoln memorial was a nice piece of art. Very apropos. I think it should remain.
June 19, 2020 at 4:34 PM #818374FlyerInHiGuestNothing is worse than a Karen who has no money.
So I had short a meeting with a Karen today. She’s an owner of a unit in an association where I am a board member. Her AC went out and she wanted a referral. Two weeks ago, I referred an AC who never scheduled a visit because he’s super busy. She all upset because nobody she calls is showing up. Tough luck. When people are busy, they get to you when they get to you, unless you’re nice and willing to pay a premium. Bitching don’t do it.

I mean not a little – a LOT!

I’d rather focus on the waitress for how swiftly and fiercely stepping in and put the englishman in his place.

https://www.gofundme.com/f/waitress-gennica-cochran%5B/quote%5DI’m with you, the story actually warmed my heart when I read what the waitress did. We’re always going to have a**holes out there, but as long as the good people outnumber the bad, we’re gonna be all right.
As I told my kids when they were growing up, being bullied says more about the person doing it than it does about you – wear it as a badge of honor that you didn’t get goaded into matching their bad behavior and took the high road. If anything, it raises your stature!
