Using all of 2008 is a little misleading. Also, the places where the price is holding up also show a decrease in sales.

Our city government should ask Obama for a piece of the stimulus package, use the money to buy a bunch of vacant downtown condos, and rent them out to local bums for $1/month. We’re killing three birds with one stone:

– Single-handedly propping real estate values downtown
– Resolving the problem with HOA shortfalls in many communities
– No more bums sleeping on the sidewalks
