Nice looking house. I like that area of MM. Easy commute to Sorrento Valley.

Two things:
1. The home is Range Priced: $474,000 – $524,000.

2. The home is not right on a canyon but it’s close. Check with your insurance agent. Some insurers don’t like to write standard policies on canyon homes. You may pay a higher premium.

Went to see the house today. My realtor said some body offered within the range. I like the house a lot but probably can’t afford to pay more than $460K. I think it will go for around $490K because there were many people that were interested.

Also, I do not want to pay this much for Mira Mesa schools. Might look for a smaller house in Rancho Penasquitos.

Also, I do not want to pay this much for Mira Mesa schools. Might look for a smaller house in Rancho Penasquitos.

Good luck trying to find a decent place in PQ for less than $460k & <15 years old. If you're ok w/ smaller house, there are plenty of smaller MM house in the $300k. BTW, how old are your kids and how long will you be planning on staying in this house? Ericson Elementary school link has API score of 10. Sandburg, Hage, and Hickman are 9s. Challenger middle school is also a 9. Depend on where you buy in PQ, you might not get a better scoring elementary school. Such as Sunset Hills Elementary linky. Just some food for thought.

Good luck trying to find a decent place in PQ for less than $460k & <15 years old. If you're ok w/ smaller house, there are plenty of smaller MM house in the $300k.
