    I’ve learned a lot from Piggintons, and here is my contribution to the forum:

    I got there by 10:30 this morning. By 10:45, the first auction came up.

    6173 Fulmar St, 92114. Loan Amount $535, published bid $457806. The actual opening bid is $90K. 2 or 3 guys were bidding and sold for $131K.

    Then several auctions later, one Poway house got 5 or 6 persons bidding.
    I missed the street name, but the street number is 14283. I asked the winner and he told me the house is 2400sqft, single story detached home. The final bid is $555100.

    Another one in Mira Mesa, 10247 Arrow Rock Ave. Loan amount is $490K, Published Bid is $501409. The actual opening bid is $220K or something around that range. The final bid price is $288K.

    There are about 15 people there today.

    You have to bring money to pay in full for the property you won. (Right there, right now. Not in 24 hours)

    The home is on Arbolitos and was on our target.

    It will be interesting to see what they will try to resell it at. The home is in the cul de sac but backs down the slope to Twin Peaks. Still they should be able to turn a pretty good profit. Opening bid on that was supposed to be in the mid 400s so it ran hard.

    The only house near the Arbolitos house that’s listing on the market is this one. It’s been on the market for 60 days now, so, obviously, it’s priced a little high. I would think this one is in a slightly better area, since it’s not backed up to Twin Peaks. Would be very interesting to see what they’ll list it at and how much it’ll close.

    That MM house is back at 2002 pricing if what I am seeing is correct. $289900 was the last sale on 4/5/2002.
