Hah, what young boy growing up in Southern California in the Gretzky era wouldn’t be a Kings fan? My hockey blood runs way deeper than the Johnny-come-lately Sharks and Ducks.
The Gulls were OK too. Speaking of which, AEG (Owners of Staples Center and the new arena in Kansas City) just became owners of the SD Sports Arena. Word on the street is that he wants to develop it into an entertainment center similar to what they have up there in LA at Staples and the Kodak Theater. AEG wants to steal some of House of Blues’ concert market share too. Here’s hoping they do something with that ancient piece of crap. Destroy and rebuild sounds nice.
