the private sector has proven it cannot manage health care.
the govt has proven it can manage health care (VA system).
There is more to a functioning society than just profit motive.
The idea isnt to tax ourselves into prosperity. It’s to minimize inequities.

To use the VA system as an example of how the gov’t manages healthcare actually lessens the strength of your argument.
I’m still under the government’s care for a long-term medical condition and I will not set foot in a VA facility. I use Scripps, which is excellent, instead.
