being in escrow is not quite buying a house….i decided it was too expensive. i don’t know. i couldn’t stand to part with 20%, but I felt like an FHA was a sucker bet. how can one buy if one thnks liek that? also, it wasn’t perfect. it was not quite int he right place.
speaking of which, has anyone read MARRY HIM! The case For Settling for Mr. Good Enough?
might apply to housing as well..

April 7, 2010 at 10:20 PM #536986scaredyclassicParticipantthe whole single/married debate really is related to housing. there is a feeling of looseness, unattachedness, with not being a homeowner, that makes you
feel slightly retarded while prices are rocketing upward, but when things are flat, declining or just weird and scary, makes you feel kinda cool, kinda bohemian, kinda open to the possibilities of the universe. makes me personally feel kinda cool, anway. it’s not quite being single, but it’s got a bit of that flavor, like, hey, anything’s possible, who knows where i’ll be in 3 months, hell i could skip town ina heartbeat, no problemo, or if i meet a cute pad, i could just buy her and make her mine, cause im not attached. hey, im a wild and crazy guy.not really. but….
