Ditto flu to skip Safelite. It is prudent to ask for an experienced installer. Especially if you have an older car with a rubber gasket that holds the windshield. You may want to take a picture of the area before they start, just in case they scratch the paint. Again, go for the best installer they have. Call a restoration bodyshop for a referral.

i got the crack on a drive to phoenix. got some quotes there for approx. $100. seems like i should have had it done there. going rate here seems to be double.
