December 22, 2010 at 8:39 AM #643698SD RealtorParticipantUnfortunately none of these suggestions are practical. JC this sounds pretty bad. To me, it may be a good idea to spend some time away from your place or perhaps even ask a friend to stay with you for awhile until you get squared away in your new place. Good that you have a dog but in this case it sounds like a large mean dog may be needed.
Or perhaps you can ask JP to come over with her gun and that should keep this stalker at bay for awhile.
Seriously though at this point it may be best to stay away for awhile.
On a side note I did take a handgun class and loved it and I would strongly advocate that. However if you decide to purchase one there is a bit of a waiting period. It is not a bad idea though.

December 22, 2010 at 11:39 AM #644860RenParticipantIf he keeps coming back, there’s something about these houses that he likes. No street lights or outside lighting maybe? Thick bushes blocking the view of the street? I second the motion sensor lights.
Unless your dog is a BIG SCARY one, he will be the only one getting hurt if he attacks a big dude. A small yapping dog would be better than a medium sized brave one.
Thumbs up on the Remington Tactical. There are much less lethal rounds available if that’s your issue with using one.
