I have a pretty good BS detector but still have some concerns about craigslist.
The big concern selling or giving stuff away, is that the buyer or taker of free stuff is just casing houses. I don’t really want to take this route often.
I think it is much easier being a buyer except that I really don’t want to buy stolen stuff or encourage people who are stealing stuff on craigslist. I don’t want to go anywhere near thieves. I try to “sniff” this out and if I have doubts I won’t buy it.
One weird, “has to be a scam” add I see is someone listing slightly used, beautiful, John Deere tractors. They are always priced way too cheaply. Also ,always has a different woman’s name in the email address to reply to. What’s up with that? I suspect hookering, but who knows?

LOL. I felt safe, he grafted it from his 40 yo tree. It was a monster tree, too.

It would keep the eyeballs on the website for the main content 🙂
