Saved at the cost of dilution. Once this realization becomes common knowledge, shareholders may not want to be “saved”.
Thinking of the details as far as the winners, losers, and different groups with skin in the game re: a bailout, I mean infusion, makes my head hurt. Just for starters, if the stock price goes down, then vultures will be more willing to supply capital as they’ll get more equity. Think of the possibilities from there!

The share holders should be screaming. This is a real loss of about 2B in shareholder equity.
