GuestI posed the same question for a friend who is considering a VA loan.
It looks like he will go with USAA, but not until winter this year. I’ll post the info once he closes and tell me what his rate and fees are.

ParticipantUSAA’s customer service ain’t all that great either, sad to say. My loan closed on time but I had my moments of doubt and pain.
I’ve heard it said that one should go to a mortgage broker to get ripped off, and to a direct lender for incompetence. Great choice 🙂

I’ve heard it said that one should go to a mortgage broker to get ripped off, and to a direct lender for incompetence. Great choice 🙂
