Globalization causes global warming.
It is a fact not a political statement.[/quote]
Capitalism causes global warming. Growth, endless, is by its nature unsustainable.
Humans and their insatiable desires.
For tshirts.
Globalization could be sustainable or unsustainable.I read a quote that really hit me recently.
IT IS EASIER TO IMAGINE THE END OF THE WORLD THAN THE END OF CAPITALISM.
I think that is a good line to go out on.

H&M is not low quality. Lighter, stylish clothing don’t look good after many washes, just like expensive fashion. Lumberjack clohing, sure. That’ll last a long time.
But you’re right about the environment. Tons of petroleum fibers (basically invisible clothing lint) end up in the environment, the oceans and the food chain.

October 3, 2019 at 1:16 PM #813708FlyerInHiGuestI went to Costco yesterday. They have a Mikasa bone China set for sale. I’m not big on buying things, but I love high quality items at commodity prices. It’s amazing that consumers today can enjoy objectively better quality china than rich people of 100 years ago.

If the masses van have it. I dont want it.

For sure. More People want to distinguish them by their knowledge and how they curate their own lives rather than what they consume.
