The entire fiat system is still insolvent. We’ve piled untenable amounts of debt on all western countries right on the doorstep of the mother of all energy conundrums. Oh, and the whole world is running from the dollar like it has the plague. I think it is justified be a dollar bear. These are the things wars are made off.

I would state it differently
I would say:
“when the fiat system gets to this point TPTB usually start a world war to distract the population from the collapsing economy and give them somewhere to focus their anger”

All currencies are now fiat. The US$ should rise in relative strength to all other fiats in the next leg down. It’s an ugly contest. Gold may test its Oct lows, but then return to its high soon thereafter.
