Participant
Lots of judging going on here. Too bad. It’s about making the right decision for Paramount and his/her family.
LOL! “I’m going to do what’s best for my family.” Isn’t that what all the famous athletes say after they get caught doing something they shouldn’t have been doing? Family, the last refuge of scoundrels and deadbeats.
What’s best for my family is for all the deadbeats and FBs to continue paying their mortgages so that I as a taxpayer don’t have to harm my family by paying for their greed and stupidity. This ‘doing what’s best for my family’ bullshit goes both ways.

ParticipantI know a few people that can afford the payment, and will still walk away from thier homes.
For me, I will be staying in my depreciating home, and will not think about what I have gained or lost until my son graduates(10 years). I know right now I am right about even, but I did put down 20%, and therefore that is lost for now.
The ones that are looking to walk, and can afford the payment, are not happy with thier home, or neighbors, or area etc.

ParticipantTG,
That’s an amazing story TG. Worthy of publication or inclusion in some other forum available to masses of people. It made me think of this video clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKTaN-HtRk8
