Why must this be a Republican vs. Democrat or conservative vs. Liberal argumant? Why not personal freedom to do what I want? If I am paying for national health care, then I want to outlaw sugar, cigarettes, liquor, and fat; then I want to mandate 1 hour of physical activity per day 5 days a week. How would those of you who want free medical care or free insurance like that? This USED to be a free country. I am fine with paying for police, fire, National defense, and help for some in society that cannot do for themselves, but please, stay out of my life and my wallet! Let’s see some personal responsibility.
