Yes but they have some great docs at Shiley. They have recruited some docs from much bigger and more prestigious institutions that really dont belong in a small market like SD. They came for the lifestyle and gave up lots more money, grants and prestige to be here. My daughter was seen there with a hemangioma behind her eye and I had my big brother (also an Opthalmologist) check them out. They were great. We are very fortunate to have them here.

It’s hard to believe that FDA approval for cataract surgery was just in 1981. Before that, you were out of luck.

Can you give me your dad’s doctor’s name. I have been procrastinating to have this procedure done. Last time i went, I waited 4 hrs and ended up just going home.
