Well, what could be the worst thing about the trump presidency is coming. In addition to all the things I did predict that did come true, here’s one I didn’t predict:
This tax plan. If the media and the people weren’t already overwhelmed with ludicrous and horrific stories and issues regarding trump, this tax plan would be generating an uproar the like of which a tax plan has never generated.
The only people who like this tax plan:
1. Rich people
2. Large corporations
3. Republican politicians who are funded by the above.
4. Brainwashed idiots who watch fox news.Everybody else hates it. It’s bad for the middle class, it’s bad for the economy, and it’s bad for America.
And it’s going to pass because America is too busy fighting dozens of other trump battles to focus on this one. The most important one (assuming no nukes are set off in the NK situation).
5 or 10 or 50 years from now, people will look back and wonder how this happened. How these republican congressmen thought they could get away with this. trump is how.
Another prediction: Whenever historians have enough time passed since the trump presidency to rank him among other presidents, he will be the unanimous choice for last place.
December 3, 2017 at 3:42 PM #808660FlyerInHiGuestZk, it’s disheartening that instead is building a globalization-ready citizenry, we are swelling the ranks of the deplorables.
Honestly, i don’t trust the American people to elect the right leaders anymore. The rich and big corporations are acting out of self interest. But the brainwashed idiots you speak of voted out is misplaced identity politics. I hope you hold them responsible for what they have done. I hope they are made to take responsibility and feel ashamed for voting for Trump.
While we are deporting immigrants, creating and chasing Islamic terrorists, China is building the future. Sad!
China just announced a policy of discontinuing gasoline cars in the future. China, not the US, Japan, or a major European country! Sad!December 5, 2017 at 5:09 AM #808688CoronitaParticipant.
December 7, 2017 at 7:38 PM #808734FlyerInHiGuestSo they are reports now that Trump is mentally ill, mad.
What if is he is proven to be whack? What does it say about the mental competence of his supporters?
December 13, 2017 at 6:15 PM #808759FlyerInHiGuestDoes anyone think that Ivanna and Melania are KGB spies. After all, they are from the Soviet block.
Anyone who reads spy novels knows that Mata Haris are common tools of spy agencies.
December 21, 2018 at 1:01 AM #811356FlyerInHiGuestSo Jim Mattis is out.
And Trump supporters still think that he’s MAGA.
Oh whatever, I’m giving up on America and concentrating more on being a World citizen. It’s less depressing to objectively look at events from that perspective. And the irony is that Trump voters will suffer more from America’s decline. They are least equipped in terms of intelligence and education to make it in a global multipolar society.
I was watching Ian Bremmer who grew up in the projects. Ian Bremmer is a leader political risk consultancy and his own brother is a deplorable who supports Trump to this day. Gee, really, can’t he educate his own relatives? What is all the knowledge for?
December 21, 2018 at 7:38 AM #811357zkParticipant
What is all the knowledge for?
Exactly.
So much of the knowledge, hard work, ingenuity, accumulated enlightenment, and social progress of humans is wasted because so many of them are gullible, irrational, easily-manipulated fools.
I get what you’re saying about a global perspective, Brian. But it seems to me that a large percentage of people all over the world are just as ignorant, gullible, irrational, easily-manipulated, and stupid as trump supporters.
December 21, 2018 at 8:26 AM #811358scaredyclassicParticipanton the bright side if people werent stupid it would be difficult for clever people to make money off others. i thank my kucky stars most days for the overwhelming stupidity and lack of selfcontrol of large swathes of the population .
