Trulia iPhone App

I just downloaded the new Trulia iPhone App, it’s pretty cool.

Pros:
– Search for properties near your current location (GPS)
– View open houses schedules for today or this weekend
– Search using custom filters: Price, Open House Times, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Square Feet
– Ablility to save properties to a favorites list
– Ability to show property in either Google Maps or on the Trulia map.
– Ability to email property to friends
– Ability to contact property agent directly from the listings.
– Your search filters are saved in a history so you don’t have to re-enter the same search filter every time.

Cons:
– No way to get bigger/more photos of property
– No way to filter results by type (condo/sfh/appt)

Hopefully Trulia will take care of the cons in a future update. It’s free from iTunes so those of your with iPhones may wish to try it out.

I was waiting till this showed up.

I just wished these apps existed for dumb phones.

Essentially all the pieces are there already.

honestly, how tough would it be to do that and enable a lamp server with an sms based q&a and the ability to use the phone’s built-in gps????
