    We are waiting to find out. My son applied for it this year but there were tons of applications and very few spots to be filled out of 3 grades. If he gets in, maybe we bring in Sdduuudde as a ringer/consultant;0

    Is this a school sponsored team?

    We had several teams from our school – but none were run by the school… coaches were parents who were willing to deal with trying to teach kids how to program, come up with robust designs, learn how to research… There was no application process… just people put together teams.

    Its a school sponsored team. I think there are 10 slots and they had to write an application themselves. They are drawing a few kids from 4th, 5th and 6th grades each.
