[quote=Coronita]It should apply to most public pools, but …”Why you should never get in a las vegas pool”
His twitter thread was entertaining to read.

Include Las Vegas hot tubs in that category also. I learned that the hard way.
May 29, 2020 at 11:42 AM #817626FlyerInHiGuestPeople who have lower performing immune systems should avoid many things.
I guess your kids never go to water parks.I don’t like to be in direct heat and sun but I do like the pool in the morning or evening. Unfortunately, the pool is closed now.
In my life I have swam in muddy lakes and tropical rivers (something the CDC says to avoid) without any side effects.
I’ve never had food poisoning or any little ailments people take daily medication for. So I don’t get all the paranoia.
You should read the CDC advisory. You may not want to go anywhere but stay holed up in your suburban house and eat safe pasteurized and irradiated industrial food.

June 8, 2020 at 11:53 PM #818122CoronitaParticipantYeah, I’m sort of getting tired of seeing my net worth keep going up despite covid, now well past pre-covid levels, despite doing less and less work. lol.
And damn, it’s getting old that UI benefit pay for furlow Friday is more than when it was a working Friday.
That reminds me…. I need to turn in my forms to recertify for last week

Glad you love Dirigisme. It’d work better with universal healthcare.
You should also thank China. You’re the one who always finds ways to brag about yourself, no matter what the subject is.

Wow Brian, going after those personal attacks again…It doesn’t take much does it? Is that what you mean by taking the high road again. Here’s a pattern. Someone says something that you don’t agree with that you can’t dispute, you go low with those personal attacks.
Keep it going, really.June 9, 2020 at 8:45 AM #818134FlyerInHiGuestNo personal attack, Corona. Just an accurate observation of your behavior.

Don’t worry. My lawyer got Covid and he recovered fine. He’s a pudgy average guy with no health preconditions, and he recovered fine at home. Your odds are good.
Mostly old people or those with existing ailments need to worry. Now that we’re reopening the economy, it will be survival of the fittest, or survival of the most isolated.
