So why is Ford still making ventilators? Don’t we have enough already?
May 22, 2020 at 8:37 PM #817542FlyerInHiGuestOh no. There we go with more pot heads. Cannabis apparently treats a lot, haha.
Scientists believe cannabis could help prevent and treat coronavirus
https://nypost.com/2020/05/21/scientists-believe-cannabis-could-help-prevent-treat-coronavirus/amp/I’m not against pot. I just find it annoying because people who do it aren’t well-behaved. Same with cigarettes and alcohol,

The govt did lie for decades about there being no potential medical use for weed and locking up lots of people for possession.
It’s enough to make one understand why one would never believe anything the Gov ever said again.
It wasnt really a conspiracy. It was just willful in your face ignorance for political ends.

Very true scaredy. It was inhumane to lock up people and ruin their lives.
However, now that weed is legal, it seems to cure everything.May 24, 2020 at 6:20 PM #817554scaredyclassicParticipant

The govt did lie for decades about there being no potential medical use for weed and locking up lots of people for possession.

You know what ? FUCK THE GOVERNMENT

“On this somber Memorial Day weekend, America is approaching the grim milestone of 100,000 Covid-19 deaths in a population of 330 million. Six Asia-Pacific nations — Australia, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Taiwan and Vietnam — have just over 1,200 coronavirus deaths in a combined population almost the same as the US, 328 million. ”
Utterly astounding how 6 nations with 6 different governments managed to get things right. Our CDC used to be THE organization the world would look to.
How utterly depressing. If we dont vote that rat turd and his enablers out this Nov. we deserve to go the way of the dodo.May 27, 2020 at 12:12 AM #817571FlyerInHiGuest
We gonna get darwinned out of existence

But seriously, it’s almost hopeless. America has embraced a culture of ignorance and science denial.
Richard Haass, the President of the council on foreign relations, has a new book on how the world works. Not too many Americans understand.
The World: A Brief Introduction
Like it or not, we live in a global era, in which what happens thousands of miles away has the ability to affect our lives. This time, it is a Coronavirus known as Covid-19, which originated in a Chinese city many had never heard of but has spread to the corners of the earth. Next time it could well be another infectious disease from somewhere else.

Ignorance is not unique to the United States. Take a gander at Boris Johnson.
The UK is almost another state in USA. Boris Johnson is actually very intelligent and not dumb like Donald Trump. But he plays the idiot for his base. As a journalist, Boris Johnson used to write shit about the EU just to satisfy his readership. It’s like Fox News saying shit about California for their viewers.
The problem is countries where Rupert Murdoch operates. It’s all about riling up people for political gain, not educating citizens. In the long term that creates division and weakness.
Yes, I have been to many countries. I used to travel abroad several times a year before I started investing in real estate which requires a lot of remodel and management. I’m glad I saw the world before it developed. That’s how I can honestly can say that the development has been amazing.May 27, 2020 at 3:07 PM #817583utcsoxParticipant

We gonna get darwinned out of existence

This is not a game!May 28, 2020 at 9:58 AM #817595FlyerInHiGuestIt is a game for some. Under Trump we had the first foreign planned terrorist attack in USA since 9/11.
I guess it’s just the cost of doing business with Saudi Arabia. -
