^^^ Why would the US military want to destroy our own economy? This makes zero sense. Also, viruses can seemingly come out of nowhere. See also: 1918-20 “Spanish” flu and Polio.
March 14, 2020 at 5:06 PM #815497AnonymousGuestThanks for tips. Not going to gamble. Going for unlimited shrimp buffet and maybe stripper

Um. That might be a problem. Because many hotels closed the buffet.

Come on man. They had to close something as a symbolic gesture. Why not close the loss leading all you can eat buffet and keep the gaming tables open. Profit over public health. Very trumpish imho.
I don’t see how Vegas or the gaming industry could quickly recover. It’s usually the last leg to recover and first leg to go down, historically speaking. So there’s no hurry, better deals ahead. I think during the height of 9/11 friends were receiving free from CA flight+ free hotel stay hoping you would show up to gamble. I’m pretty sure we will see this not so far into the future.
So are you staying at the Trump Hotel? lol
March 14, 2020 at 5:18 PM #815499AnonymousGuestOk, you got me. Not really going for all you can eat shrimp buffet. Going for stripper

Why so defensive? You have been begging for this for last five years. Let economy and Americans suffer for your personal gain. You should be jumping on deals left and right

You know in PRC, they started washing and burning the paper money because it too can carry the virus and live a few hours. So unless strippers reinvent and start taking Venmo, you probably have a greater chance of getting the virus from going to a stripper joint than you are playing poker. Or wear latex gloves.
Hey, I think there’s a business idea right there. Cashless stripper joint.
March 14, 2020 at 5:25 PM #815502ltsdddParticipantIf this is true. The press might be praising global warming this spring/summer.
March 14, 2020 at 5:29 PM #815503CoronitaParticipantI should stop taking about Vegas. I’m sounding like a Vegas LETDLITA. I don’t live there, I don’t even like the cheesiness of Vegas with a fake Egypt, fake Paris, fake New York, fake Venice, and a few other fake immitations. Maybe if I wanted to get a crash course in being refined and cultured, I could say I visited Paris, New York, Venice, Egypt (in fine print at the Strip)

Exactly, based on you and brian’s and other’s prior post, I thought people would be happy that a once in a lifetime catastrophic event like a pandemic virus wreaks havoc on the economy. I thought your plan was to celebrate that if the virus gets worse and wreaks havoc on highly dense tourist focus areas like Las Vegas, people should be very giddy and happy with the ultimate mass job losses and layoffs that will happen. And when that happens, lots of people won’t be able to pay rent or mortgages, and they will have to fold and leave the place, and property values will go upside down…including all the people that bought homes specifically for the purposes of Airbnb and vrbo and now having a tough time renting out. Isn’t this usually the point in time where you guys laugh at how people are getting screwed, calling them dumbasses as in the past posts, and can’t wait for things to tank even further? Didn’t a few days ago, you even said the virus would be a good thing as it apparently would make people sterile or debilitate people? Or did you think it would only apply to others, and somehow you would be immune to this?.
And those of us sitting on a boatload of cash can go in like vultures and pick the flesh of the remaining dead bodies, profitting off of the misfortunes of others. I thought you and Brian of all people would be jumping up and down all over this…Come on man, when are we going to do this? aren’t you excited and giddly we are gonna get our chance ..You are finally going to be able to laugh your asses off at all the people that will be financially affected by this pandemic who finally get thrown on the street because they are unemployed and sick and this is the once in a lifetime event has given you a wonderful profitable opportunity, like the way you had always dreamed of!!!!This is exactly what you guys wanted. Got cash in hand, waiting for people to eat shit…. Awesome!!!!!!Who’s going to show me foreclosures in vegas. I want in!!!!
(too bad I hate Vegas and have no desire to own property there)
March 14, 2020 at 5:53 PM #815506FlyerInHiGuestThe Trump hotel in Vegas has always underperformed and investors lost a shitload of money. It’s actually owned by Phil Riffin. Trump’s buddy billionaires will be losing big.. But not to worry, a bailout package is coming.

March 14, 2020 at 6:00 PM #815510AnonymousGuestWhat a crapload. You’ve done nothing but brag about to Vegas real estate for years around here. Your IKEA inspired airbnb units with great WiFi, Egyptian cotton towels and 500 thread count sheets because that’s travelers want. Such a short memory
