During these challenging times, I’m really concerned that people are going to get confused with the negative connotations being thrown around here in each thread with the word “flu” that looks and sounds the same as my user handle.
To avoid further confusion, I’ve rebranded my user handle to something else that clearly distinguishes me from the negative associations being used here to represent a deadly virus.

March 13, 2020 at 6:02 PM #815449HobieParticipantGreat idea to test. Hmm this is new, so nothing on the shelf.
https://www.hhs.gov/about/news/2020/03/13/hhs-funds-development-covid-19-diagnostic-tests.html
“There are currently no approved diagnostics, vaccines or treatments for COVID-19. However, the FDA issued emergency use authorization for diagnostic tests from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other authorized public health laboratories, and for use of New York State’s Wadsworth diagnostics test. In addition, FDA also issued a new policy Feb. 29 to help expedite the availability of diagnostics.”
Keep in mind the mortality rate vs. panic. Just sayin’
repeat after me: orange man bad
March 13, 2020 at 6:03 PM #815451HobieParticipantC-mon svelt. Contagious vs. individual medical issue(non-contagious).
Nice try 😉 I expect far better from you. You are quite smart friend.

Really, friend. You take my previous handle and you can’t wait 1 day before you go Trumpanzee on me? Really?
Fck you. Thanks for nothing, former friend.
March 13, 2020 at 6:30 PM #815455AnonymousGuestAll those bigly CEOs joining in to help! It’s great and he’s finally showing he can be a leader when we need him. #Trump2020
March 13, 2020 at 6:47 PM #815456spdrunParticipant* Showed up 30 minutes late.
* Blew off the question whether he’d be tested despite exposure. Shook quite a few hands.
* A lot of CEOs and officials, not many (any?) academic research leaders.
* Disclaimed responsibility for the piss-poor response to the epidemic. This was known in mid-January. The US gov did fuck-all.
* Mr. Market didn’t buy it. DOW futures -376 after hours.
* He proposed spending $2.6 billion buying more oil for the Strategic Reserve … great to miss the point. Why not spend this money helping individuals and small businesses who lose their business instead of fluffing Big Oil?March 13, 2020 at 6:58 PM #815457CoronitaParticipant[quote=flu]All those bigly CEOs joining in to help! Come on friend. Really? We know he showed up late just so he wouldn’t tank the markets. Slimeball.
Nothing can top Sarah Palin’s performance on Masked Singer, lol. awesome.
March 13, 2020 at 7:01 PM #815458spdrunParticipantI don’t think the lateness was planned … Dewey Grisham had a rather worried, perplexed look … “when will he finally come out?”

He projected calm confidence. It was a great change. Partner with our business leaders that have touch points in the community it was brilliant. #MAGA
