I wish them the best in this ordeal but Dude seriously,
This is Chinese new year the busiest travel/tourist and retail time of the year, you would think this has to be damn serious for them to shut down a significantly large part of the country.January 25, 2020 at 5:34 AM #814464CoronitaParticipant
It was mildly off topic. No need to get your panties in a wad.
I don’t wear underwear so nothing bunches up. I prefer to let yellow and brown seep right my kackis, and it helps me figure out how to put my pants if I’m ever drunk. yellow in front, brown in back. If it was acceptable in the US, I would prefer to use the open slit crouch pants popular in China so when I shit I wouldn’t even need to take off my pants so I could shit on things more frequently, when I want and how I want all the time.
Interesting choice of words. Kinda sexist you think?. Not that I particularly care, but it wouldn’t be my choice of words in today’s ultrasensitive , all inclusive environment, that I have to say many progressives have brought to our society’s attention in which progessives almost always ding others for saying…. Just saying….But whatever.

We will see more cases come up. I am pretty sure there will be more cases here in the US just on the number of people traveling to and from Asia and US…and how long it takes for symptoms (if any) show up. this won’t just be their problem.People can argue all they want about what’s acceptable to eat or not. it’s not the point . facts are facts
“Coronaviruses are transmitted by animals and people, and the Wuhan strain has been linked to a market in the city that was selling seafood and live animals, including wild species. Third generation means that someone who became infected after handling animals at the market spreads the virus to someone else, who then spreads it to a third person.”

This is bad, but China will get thought it and all will be forgotten in time.
The silver lining is that they will be able to show their logistics prowess in the process.
you are seriously comparing an hypothetical “Brian theorized” trump economic meltdown that you have been pathetically trying and failing to push on piggington and demonstrating you are wrong….
….to a viral outbreak that killing people with local people actually reporting real numbers that 4x what the state run and controlled media is allowed to report …which itself should give pause for a thought to anyone who isnt dumbshit.Really? Are you even serious?????
You really need to win an argument for arguments sake? You are that pathetic? Really?
Ok, if it really makes you feel better. You win. You’re an exemplary model citizen. We should all aspire to be more like you. If it really really makes your cold, sick, spiteful, dark inards feel better. I’ll say what you want to hear so you can feel better about yourself….

There are always alternate facts.
January 25, 2020 at 5:33 PM #814472FlyerInHiGuestFlu, what realistically do you think the end result will be? Recession in China? Economic collapse? Or continued growth as usual?
BTW, China successfully transitioned to a service economy despite all the gloom and doom.January 26, 2020 at 4:22 AM #814474CoronitaParticipantCalifornia’s first case in Orange County.

Not going any Asian supermarkets or restaurants for the next couple of weeks. Yes, admittedly I have germaphobia
January 26, 2020 at 8:01 AM #814475ltsdddParticipantThis is going to be bad. Apparently, an infected person is contagious even before the symptoms showed up. Apparently, the incubation period is as short as 3 days. There’s a case where a (infected)father went abroad to visit his son and within 3 days the son got a high fever and is confirmed to have the virus. How many people did this man infect on the trip to visit his son (via bus/plane/train)?
January 26, 2020 at 8:36 AM #814476CoronitaParticipantI think I’m going to buy a few medical masks… you know just in case.
January 26, 2020 at 11:17 AM #814477The-ShovelerParticipantWe went to Pechanga and Pala to kind of celebrate new years a little.
Lots of people wearing masks, I was thinking I wish I had one.
