I can see healthcare workers spreading it soon. Hell I and 4 others got influenza A right after the xmas party even though we all got the flu shot. I wonder if it can sojourn in our local fauna.

Out of 80K known cases, only 27K so far recovered.
( A lot of unknown outcomes yet )2.6K deaths so far.
Doctors now saying recovered patients can still be contagious.

Well kinda sorta.
One doctor in Wuhan said that, but it hasn’t been scientifically proven that they are still contagious.

Flu shots are hit or miss. some years they get it right, other years they don’t. So a flu shot won’t really guarantee you won’t get the flu.

If it were, we should have already have seen many cases pop up in SoCal already since SoCal has so much travel with Asia and the virus started much sooner than the official report out of china. So far there is one suspected case of transmission from someone contagious. That’s the case in Sacramento. Unless, for some reasons, this virus for many here is simply like a cold and nothing more, and people just didn’t think anything of it and it passes.
Interesting that Long Island on the other hand is seeing around 80 in isolation. it will be interesting to see how many of those actually turn our to be infections.

And my freezer is always full, including the dead body I stashed away.Did I miss anything else I should stock up on?
