Okay, so the thread title is meaningless, but I’m curious to know what seller’s agents are doing in this market to move their properties? The days of simply putting it up on the MLS system are over, right? So what helps to motivate buyers? Here is a short list of things I (as a non-agent) could think of… feel free to add to it…(or if you disagree on any of them, please chime in as well – trolls welcome)
– professional photographs of the property
– professionally printed glossy flyers for use at open houses and to leave outside home
– Open Houses
– use Craigslist (any other ideas along these lines?)
– put listing in Zillow
– Email blast other agents in area of home
What else helps to motivate buyers or promote listings?
