Zeitgeist
ParticipantIsrael does a preemptive strike on Iran to wipe out their nukes. Either way we win. If it does not happen, perhaps there will be a revolution there (in Iran)to get rid of the religious right. If it does, it will be problematic in the short run. What say you Arraya?

Guest
I hate third world countries but my friends tell me some stories that are pretty amazing, if we are gonna be a third world country, can we at least have brotels?
I believe that they are now called emerging markets, or developing countries. 😉
Why do you hate developing countries? I love them because you can get the same service as in developed countries if you’re willing to pay the same price. Plus you can get other things for cheap also. The best of both worlds really.
If you fly Business or First Class on a foreign airline, you won’t want to fly an American flagged airline anymore. Not for the same price, not if you have the choice.

Israel won’t strike Iran unless we give them permission.
Disruption in oil supplies won’t be good for the global economy as we try to dig out of the recession.
Who will control Iran if it breaks apart? I don’t think it’s in our interest for there to be civil war in Iran. Pakistan may go down too and there’ll be chaos
Would be much better to have economic and political rapprochement with Iran like we did with Vietnam. Let’s trade with them and let American companies grow and invest in Iran.
