Well dbapig:
You are darn good at it. π
While I’m here, and especially during these trying economic times, I would like to remind the folks who still care about what happens to their fellow Americans that there is a small thing they can do to help out.
Ask the world renowned and popular actor, Jeff Bridges, to please drop the Hyundai voice-over campaign.
It’s having a negative effect on the recovery of our American auto industry and fellow blue collar workers.

P.S.: Scroll up the page a few posts for an excellent commentary by Rt.66.

July 15, 2009 at 2:17 PM #430802Allan from FallbrookParticipantRt.66: Rather than attempting to take on that monster post in it’s entirety, I’d like to offer up just a couple of points in return.
First is as to what I do: I do blast engineering and ATFP (Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection) and I can state categorically and with NO FEAR of contradiction that my services will never, ever be outsourced and due to the sensitive/confidential/Classified nature of my work.
Second, as to my anti-Americanism: My services are used to protect American citizens around the world from the true anti-Americans, like Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda.
I come from a family that has proudly served in this country’s military and has supported America following (my dad was an aerospace engineer who worked on intelligence and military satellites after he got out of the Marine Corps).
Don’t try for a second to turn what I have to say about the woes of GM and why they happened into some sort of anti-American screed. I love my country and have the screwed up back, hip and knees to prove it (thanks to a UH-60 accident when I was in the Army). I work daily to keep this country safe and I can guarantee what I do is a good deal more valuable to this country than what you do.
With the exception of one used Mercedes, I have always bought American and will continue to.
Before you come at me with that weak shit, get your fucking facts straight, please. And don’t ever presume upon my patriotism again. Playing that card, like Paddy is doing as well, is repulsive and you should be ashamed of yourself. Instead of having a reasoned discourse, you’re falling back on ad hominem, Godwin’s law and generally fallacious thinking.

This really doesn’t have anything to do with facts or even current events. This is completely about ego.
Can we stop feeding the trolls now? Feed the troll and the troll grows stronger (more annoying).
P.S.
Allan you seem like a pretty interesting guy. Seem like you’ve done a lot of sh!t.
