Even Kim Jong Il wouldn’t be caught dead in Jeff Bridge’s Korean-based WalMart car – the infamous Hyundai !
Jong’s final ride appears to be a TRULY American-Made sled….
Oh….the irony…..

Paddy: Are you sad that “Dear Leader” has passed? I know you support that blind obedience to utter thoughtlessness, in other words, let’s all support destructive Big Labor policies that destroy American industries through financially suicidal labor contracts.
That is what you’re all about it, isn’t it?
December 29, 2011 at 12:05 PM #735153paddyohParticipantLove all you guys/gals from..um…uh…some country other than the US of A…..I guess….
Keep buyin’ those
Koreas, Hyundais and Daewoos…..
Then blame the crappy economy on um….uh….
The poor people I guess….
;>]
But if ya get a chance…..please ask Jeff Bridges to dump the Hyundai (pronounced HIE-YUN-DIE) advertising campaign.
If not for you…..how ’bout yer kids and grand-kids ?
It’s just good ole American ingenuity.

Paddy: I drive a Ford (my fifth Ford, counting my first car ever, a 1969 Mach I). I’ve always driven American, with the exception of a single Mercedes. My wife drives American, too.
My uncles and my grandpa (Mom’s side) worked for Ford in Michigan. My granda was a union shop steward, so I know the union game from the inside.
Don’t preach to me about being un-American; you have no idea what you’re talking about. I’ve also worn my country’s uniform and I’d be willing to bet you haven’t, given your penchant for authoritarianism.
Unions, along with dipshit management, destroyed the US auto industry. You sit and bitch about American jobs being driven overseas? Look in the mirror, Trotsky. You should be ashamed, because its the fault of people exactly like you.

I’m getting all nostalgic…

KSM: Yup, old Paddy has crawled back up on the soapbox. Apparently we’re not doing our American “duty” and giving overpriced union jobs to underqualified idiots. Instead, we’re expecting competition and (gasp!) results.
December 30, 2011 at 9:01 AM #735192paddyohParticipantWhoa….Alan. I had to wipe your spit off my screen. ;>]
I didn’t call anyone “un-American” here.
Do you have some sort of guilt complex thing going on Alan ?
Me thinks you need to get some thicker skin buddy.
You take the small stuff too seriously. Maybe use a smiley-face once in a while. But kudos on all the Fords you’ve owned.
I just dropped by to see if anyone had softened up on asking Jeff Bridges to drop the Hyundai ads and Alan drives off the cliff.
Of course, that just gets ME “all nostalgic” – like KSMountain. ;>]
I thought someone might get a laugh out of Korea’s president riding atop a solidly American-Made Lincoln. No sense of humor here tho.
Anyways. You know my drill.
Please go here and politely ask Mr. Jeff Bridges to get off the Hyundai advertising band-wagon.
Thanks for the warm welcome back kids !
Have a safe and prosperous New Year…..really !

December 30, 2011 at 9:26 AM #735193paddyohParticipantAnd REALLY Alan…..
“Underqualified idiots” ? “Trotsky” ?
“dipshit management” ?
Do we really need all the name-calling ?
December 30, 2011 at 1:16 PM #735206CoronitaParticipantthere’s a reason why the now deceased n.korean leader was riding in an OLD Lincoln towncar…. They stopped making the new one…..
http://money.usnews.com/money/business-economy/slideshows/the-10-worst-discontinued-cars/7
But hey, in 5 years, the towncar depreciates to 17% of it’s original value… Yup, that’s right… It loses 73% of it’s value in 5 years. So in 2-3 more years, North Korea can afford them….
Also, the South Korean delegates had no issues rolling in their new Hyundai Equus.
