There were people tattling on Brian for a half-political comment that he didn’t even start. Some people don’t like hime and must be monitoring all his posts. If that’s how it’s going to be, then so be it.June 23, 2010 at 7:21 AM #569694jpinpbParticipant
Thanks for tattling Brian.

Now Rich has closed the thread, which was clearly in need of some Dr. Strangelove quotes.
[Chomps cigar] But today, war is too important to be left to politicians. They have neither the time, the training, nor the inclination for strategic thought. I can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration, Communist indoctrination, Communist subversion and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.
Update: Replace “Communist” with “Terrorst” in the above.
Pri: What a great movie. Apropos of nothing, there was a period in the late 1980s when the Army was testing the USAF security measures at various SAC bases, and they had a “Burpelson AFB” scenario, which postulated a rogue CO had locked down the base and was threatening a launch against the USSR. It was based on the movie “Dr. Strangelove” and the whacked-out CO (and his “essence”).

It enables me to take actions to keep the forums on point without me having to read every post.
