I’ve been watching the Little Italy and Downtown market closely over the past 2 years. I don’t claim to be an expert, but Port d’Italia is in a horrible location. As mentioned by another… planes, trains, traffic… and with Grape and Hawthorne… who needs a gated entrance!
Further, I don’t know if I have seen a single appealing picture of the development ever on Craigslist!
Going by 2/2 alone… and maybe assuming 1000 square feet, $1,400 seems like an accurate rental rate for the location and ammentities/burdens. But, I wouldn’t rent there! I’ll stay in my smaller 1/1 Banker’s Hill unit, far north of flight path, for $1,200 a month and drive to Little Italy
