Divorce is never a good situation. From your comments it appears that not only are you happy when people lose their homes, you are equally happy when families fall apart.

I am happy for my friend because he married a freak and he is happy. He didn’;t have any kids and married too you (19 years old), now 24. So for him, the timing is great. Lycus 103.7

People get oftentimes get married for stupid reasons. I was happy to see my little brother get divorced. The wife was pretty and nice but she was very needy and not the brightest girl on the block. Now, he’s got a beautiful, rich, smart girlfriend who’s not needy or controlling. She’s confident enough to let him do his own things and he’s happier than ever.
Marriage should be like buying a house. You’re better off choosing carefully and buying at the right time. Otherwise, you’ll end up paying for it for a long, long time. Just like buying a house, people rationalize their marriage decisions to make themselves feel better.
I’m only kidding. 🙂 Love is truly about having fun together, building a connection, being close to one another and sharing our innermost feelings.

I hear you. Yeah, if he made a killing, he wouldn’t be selling his house for a loss. His wife’s spending habbits crippled him. lol the new cars, cloths, etc… Maybe it just felt that way because he was buy rounds of drinks for people he didn’t know hotels in Vegas. It ran dry.
April 11, 2007 at 2:06 PM #49824drunkleParticipantmarried at 19, flipping at 21, divorced and bankrupt at 24. talk about live fast, die young…
years from now, he’ll talk about graduating from the school of hard knocks, another cynical and jaded loser with a spotty past and an uncertain future… but he’s the norm now, even a person of respect and credence. because good decisions and fore thought are worth less than last year’s must-have cellphone.
April 11, 2007 at 3:51 PM #49837AnonymousGuestYeah, any guy who gets married at 19 is a dumbass (Leykis 101!). Regardless, I expect a TON of divorces to result from this real estate crash. I know there are many young couples who through shear ignorance are buying houses as we speak (I know several at my work). Many of these will be bankrupt within 3-5 years if not sooner, not a good way to start of a marriage.
