ParticipantI don’t really have an opinion on David Byrne. Odd, creative guy, obviously. I was never a big Talking Heads fan, but I didn’t dislike them. Byrne did an interesting album with Brian Eno called “My Life in the Bush of Ghosts” back in the early-80s that’s kind of cool.
My preferences from the 80s were along the lines of The Church, The Chameleons (UK), The Buzzcocks and The Clash. And almost anything on the Creation label.
There’s a great band from NYC called Interpol that rehashes that sound.
Don’t know a thing about Mr Manjoo. I’ll try to run across him.

And really, what does that have to do with his information regarding the BS and LB take down?

Participantmusic related intra-thread hijack query; all of my life, I have hated jazz; then i recently started listening to some miles davis and I am completely hooked, obsessive and will listen to nothing else right now. Is this due to aging, the economy, or some independent unknown factor? will i pull out of this or is this the endgame?
