Please show me an example of a Christian fundamentalist using your particular quote of scripture from the Bible in order to murder someone and then multiply that by 10,000. It is only then that maybe you would have a valid counterpoint to mine.
Ever heard of the crusades? Yeah, those Muslims and their book of death are crazy, but they’re just trying to catch up with those zany Christians.
FACT: The Crusades were launched by over a hundred years of Muslim aggression against the Byzantine empire. Think about it. They were launched AFTER a hundred years of torture, pillaging, raping, and destruction by the Muslims. The Crusades, contrary to popular myth, were NOT unprovoked.
Try again history buff.
And you had to reach back a few thousand years to get an example? You couldn’t get one today? Doesn’t that mean your argument is so invalid?

You’re proving my point man. And now Hassan has given us an excuse to kill some more Muslims. And that will give them an excuse to kill some more of us. Etc, etc.
Anyone want a beer?

Tell that to the Christian Coalition. They’ve had quite an influence of US policies over the past 40 years and they’d just loooovvveee to bring back the Old Testament.
Did you see the video of the Republicans shouting down the Democratic Women’s Caucus last week? They want to put those bitches back in their rightful place – submitting as the good book tells them to.
And don’t even get me started on teh gheys.
Afx: Okay. And your response above doesn’t do anything in terms of addressing my points on the dangers of fundamentalist Islam in any of its guises.
What would it mean if the Christian Coalition brought back the Old Testament? Would they be flying airliners into skyscrapers? Probably not and you know that.
Same with buffoons trying to shout down the Women’s Caucus. Yup, deplorable and uncouth behavior to be sure, but is it trumped by Sharia law and the chauvinism and misogyny as under Islam? Nope and you know that, too.
