You’re opening up a big can o’ worms if you want to start quoting religious texts as proof of moral inferiority/superiority.

Oh, someone who has failed reading comprehension again…
I make NO such assertions of moral inferiority and/or superiority in my post.
The quote above came from Hasan’s power point presentation to (from the information provided) doctors. His use of scriptures shows exactly what HE himself understood to be Islam. So the fact that he is a muslim is a very pertinent fact because it shows that his motivation comes from the scriptures itself.
Please show me an example of a Christian fundamentalist using your particular quote of scripture from the Bible in order to murder someone and then multiply that by 10,000. It is only then that maybe you would have a valid counterpoint to mine.

Tell that to the Christian Coalition. They’ve had quite an influence of US policies over the past 40 years and they’d just loooovvveee to bring back the Old Testament.
Did you see the video of the Republicans shouting down the Democratic Women’s Caucus last week? They want to put those bitches back in their rightful place – submitting as the good book tells them to.
And don’t even get me started on teh gheys.
