Has nothing to do with Muslim or not Muslim. The quesiton is – what was this guy trying to accomplish and did he demand anything first ?[/quote]Bzzzzt! Wrong, sorry, thank you for playing.
From his powerpoint slide:
“Sahih Muslim 1:53 – I have been commanded to fight the people until they testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, establish the prayer, and pay the Zakah.”

And that’s different from Psalm 149 how?
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations And punishment on the peoples
You’re opening up a big can o’ worms if you want to start quoting religious texts as proof of moral inferiority/superiority.
“The sports team from my geographic location is better than the sports team from your geographic location!”
Thank you for playing.

ParticipantAfx: Uh, that would be the Old Testament, right? Yeahhhhh, we, uh, don’t use that anymore. See, that whole Jesus/Resurrection/New Covenant with God thing means we’ve moved on to the New Testament, which is a whole lot more “Peace, Love and granola bars”.
Comparisons like yours are especially odious and largely because Christianity, unlike Islam, isn’t mired in the 14th century. Also, mainstream Christian denominations aren’t seeking complete subservience to a worldwide Islamic Caliphate.
Which is why you don’t see Protestant pastors, or Catholic priests, or Jewish rabbis flying jets into skyscrapers.
